UNEP bags International Quality Crown Awards from London
After her productive sojourn in Busan , South Korea last month to attend the 11th Asia University President Forum 2012, Atty. Remelisa Alfelor-Moraleda, University of Northeastern Philippnes (UNEP) President set foot once again in another country, this time in the capital of England, United Kingdom to receive one of the
most prestigious awards of excellence – the International Quality Crown Award in Gold Category.
Moraleda personally received the Total Quality Management Award during the momentous ceremony held November 25 at the Guoman Tower Hotel Convention Hall in London , United Kingdom during the 2012 International Quality Awards and Business Initiative Directions (BID) International Quality Convention there.
The recognition is a testimony of UNEP’s commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation. Together with 48 countries around the world, UNEP stood proud yet humbly thankful for the great recognition bestowed upon the university.
UNEP was the only educational institution awarded from the Philippines .
Moraleda stood on the same stage along with outstanding personalities from the business world and diplomatic corps. She rubbed elbows with the dignitaries and co-awardees who were also acknowledged by IQC International Quality Crown Award for their strong commitment to quality and excellence.

The Business Initiative Directions (BID) is an organization based in Madrid Spain which recognizes companies around the world for their continuous pursuit to achieve Quality and Excellence.
The event was sponsored by the ImarPress Media which has more than 26 publications in English, French, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese. The coverage will allow the event to be seen in 178 countries around the globe. This, according to the organizers will create a firm ground for the implementation of the integral quality processes through the technology and procedures of the QC 100 model of Total Quality Management.
UNEP will not stop in pursuing more programs that would enhance the quality of services and education that they intend to give, not only to UNEPians but to all the Bicolanos. It will continue to assert its role as the producer of Global achievers. Truly, UNEP is worthy to be called the HOME OF GLOBAL ACHIEVERS. (UNEP)
