There are four major examinations given each semester: the prelim, the midterm, the semi-final and final. Examination schedules are announced by the Accounting Department upon the enrollment of the student.
A student is required to secure a validated examination permit from the Accounting Department. The permit should be presented to the instructor during the examination.
No student shall be allowed to take the examination without the examination permit.
After the examination, the student keeps the permit.
Cheating is one of the less grave offenses with a particular sanction. The following are considered forms of cheating and definitely not allowed when a student is taking examinations:
Using of textbooks, notes and other paraphernalia with regard to the subject matter unless authorized by the instructor.
Giving and receiving of answer of information; and
Any other attempts of communication with classmates while taking the examination.
Faculty members are not allowed to give special or late examination to any student who fails to take examination at the scheduled time, except upon written request approved by the Dean of the particular College.
In case of loss of examination permit, affidavit of loss must be secured and a student may be reissued permit upon payment of PhP 100.00 for the issuances of new permit.
Student is not allowed to leave the examination room after the examination has begun without submitting his/her test paper, thereby forfeiting the right to wire the additional answer or to modify the answer already written.
The faculty is given the right to exempt deserving students from the final examination on the subjects they are teaching.
