THE COLLEGE ROLE
As a Service Department, the college of Arts and Sciences/Social Work and General Education provides stocks of learning which is indispensable in the foundation of every young professional.
As a Separate Academic Unit, the College of Arts and Sciences/Social Work and General Education offers various programs of studies leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts and a degree in Bachelor of Science in Social Work.
ITS PURPOSE
The Liberal Arts courses aim to develop the ability to communicate with precision, the knowledge of the past and the present and the ability to think creatively, analytically and logically. The courses offered provide the minimum intellectual tool that every graduate should have to understand his rightful place in the society. Finally, the courses provide each student/ graduate sufficient prop to look beyond his professional field to the need of man, the nation and the global community that he may relate his work to the advancement of human society.

The CAS/SW is envisioned as a pillar of quality learning where scholars and students enjoy the maximum freedom in the search of knowledge, of new learning and in the exploration of a finer thought in the spirit of discovery and service to the community.
