In response to the country’s great need for nurses and the growing number of students in the Bicol Region who would be taking up nursing, the university under the leadership of the late FELIX ORDAS ALFELOR, SR. offered a baccalaureate program Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This program has been approved as having complied with the basic requirements. Since then the College of Nursing has grown and existing up to the present, producing PROFESSIONAL NURSES & MIDWIVES.
The University is composed of highly qualified professors with Masteral Degree and specialties in the field of Nursing. The university is equipped with the state of the art gadget and dummies for our return demonstration in our skills laboratory.
At present, we adopted a new strategy to learning of our students to cope up with the modern technology which our students are fond of computers, the university subscribe to eLEARNING, a computer based learning which further enhances the classroom lectures. The University of Northeastern Philippines is the FIRST SCHOOL in Rinconada that have subscribe to this modern way of gaining knowledge, skills and attitude.
