QUALITY POLICY
The College of Maritime Education of the University of Northeastern Philippines is committed to the total development of a maritime educational system in accordance with the international standards.
The college shall provide education and training for the technological, physical, social, spriritual and cultural development of future marine officers and ratings who shall be globally competitive. Selective admission and retention of physical and mentally fit individuals shall be observed to ensure quality of the graduates.
The University will provide standard training equipment and facilities in conformity with STCW (Standard of Training, Certification and Watch keeping) as amended and set standards in accordance to IMO (International Maritime Organization) and shall ensure that all its identified objectives shall be achieved to realize the university’s vision in producing quality and employable graduates of maritime education in the region.
The university shall exercise its responsibility for quality in all activities and provide continual improvement on its quality system in all level of service to promote quality education.
The Quality Policy shall be reviewed for continuing suitability at the end of each school year during the Management Review. Changes in this policy shall be approved by the President of the University and communicated to the organization.
